Yes... They are always super late  But "Believer" is about to be top 5 on both Pop Radio and Overall Radio  And I have no doubt "Thunder" will be huge! It has already sold close to 200k without having radio support and close to 100M views with its official video on YT  I'm hoping for a top 3 peak on the Hot100. They can do it

Well, sonically and lyrically it is closer to songs released by Foster The People. "Shut Up And Dance" was just an annoying song, which "Feel It Still" is not.

Speaking of Foster The People, "Helena Beat," "Don't Stop," and "Best Friend" all deserved to be hits. :(

 

As for Walk The Moon, "Work This Body" should have had a better video and it might have sold/streamed better. Idk.  

 

Portugal. The Man, I've been listening to them since "Purple Yellow Red & Blue" so it's nice to see they're finally getting some attention. Would be nice if they could maintain that.

With Despacito still selling 100k+ downloads/week at 1.910 M, and Shape Of You stuck at 20k/week with total downloads of 2.268 M, Despacito should overtake SOY within the next few weeks. Someone out there knows for sure, but Despacito's streaming is either at or above SOY too, and will continue to push way past Ed in the upcoming weeks and months. However, SOY has a huge airplay lead, which may ultimately give Ed the lead over Fonsi when BB releases the 2017 YE H 100.

It will take "Despacito" at least 2 months to surpass "Shape Of You" total sales.

"feel it still" is a funky/groovy alt-pop tune. it's something we haven't really had in a while tbh. I hope pop radio treats it well, as it went top 15 on itunes and top 40 on spotify before it even got an official release on pop radio. they originally had it be released onto pop radio for 8 august, but I suppose that they moved it up a week because they saw how well the song was doing

Shut Up And Dance is annoying to you, to you.

FTP's song was very dark while Portugal & Walk The Moon are retro inspired dancey songs.

Obviously they are all unique in their own ways but thematically Feel It Still is closer to SUAD

Feel It Still is already #14 on iTunes and #40 on pop radio.  It goes for adds TODAY.
