This. It helped him appeal to straights and the urban crowd more. I'm a little surprised the black community is for the most part here for Bieber especially after his n word debacle. But it goes to show you as much as some like to cry about black people being easily offended they don't really hold grudges lmao.

Kinda impressed by the performance of "First Time" so far. "It Ain't Me" is better for me for now but we'll see how this goes. Doubt it'll do better than the first one though.

 

Also, hopefully Imagine Dragons can somehow manage to have double release with "Believer" still climbing on radio and currently on iTunes too due to discount + "Thunder" probably being second single. I want them to haave something similar to "Radioactive"/"Demons" situation.

I really want 'Believer' to go top 10. It's an amazing song.

They songs always have crazy longevity so I can see that.

Well, the "Smoke + Mirrors" era was terrible for them. Their longest charting song was "I Bet My Life" with 18 weeks I think.

They should've treat the whole era differently. The promote like the release week and that was it - they went on tour (where I saw them btw and was very grateful). But yeah, this era seems like they're back in their roots and they waited just accurate time for releasing new stuff which obviously clicks with the GP.

Shots should be first single, Gold second, then release of album, then Friction as next single.

I think "I'm The One" will be #1 on iTunes for another 4-5 days, similar to "Sign Of The Times".
