Bon Appétit

I wonder if she's gonna stick with the album or regroup entirely.

Kygo having 2 songs in the top 15, my faves' impact  :alexz:

never thought I'd see this happen to a Katy single ngl :deadbanana3:

#25 Bon Appétit with a dark red update???

I mean after seeing it peak at #15 i'm not really shocked but it's sad to see that she'll be lucky to reach 20k sales at this point.

I don't want to see KP4's opening numbers tbh. But i'm sure that it won't be #1.

Lots of people did, but they were idiots.

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas and others all released promo singles which free-falled down the charts (except for Dark Horse). And some of them were actually smash hits when LATER ON released as ACTUAL SINGLES.

Didn't mean they were over. But when Justin Bieber did them it was the end of his career apparently lol.

But what people don't remember is that Justin Bieber was absolutely DESPISED by many people, so they used any opportunity to paint him as a failure (even if it meant them pretending that he released all those songs as actual singles).

Some of those songs probably would have returned in the charts and done better if they were released as proper singles in the same way that E.T., Imma Be, Titanium, I Knew You Were Trouble, and others did. They free-falled down the chart when they were promo singles (like what the Journals songs were), but returned in the charts and became hits when they were sent to radio.

Castle On The Hill dropped down the charts fast when it was first released. It doesn't mean Ed Sheeran is over, it just means it wasn't a single. :rip: It is now and it's climbing back up.

Omg someone with a brain on ATRL!! This is so exciting.

Will it even be able to reach 20k?

Katy Perry - Bon Appétit (feat. Migos) - 0.1075 (Dark Red)

Katy Perry - Chained To The Rhythms - 0.0591 (Light Red)

ZAYN & Taylor Swift - I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker) - 0.0502 (Dark Green)

you should ask @Kworb or @simmnfierzig, but in my opinion it may do 20-25k-ish

Is that enough to debut on the Hot 100?

Maybe around #96 probably...

You usually need 40 points to debut.

20K sales, 10m airplay, and 5m streams would be around 70 points so #65-#75 debut

I'm not her for ITO becoming the song of the summer

it's so mediocre

DJ Khaled - I'm the One  - 158k

Katy Perry - Bon Appétit - 17k

Kygo & Ellie Goulding - First Time - 21k

I officially switched fully from buying songs to AM today so I probably won't be posting here much anymore but sales were great while they lasted and streaming is the new black!
