I don't know how much could you expect from a 6th single  The fact that it hit #3 on the Hot100 and is close to 3xPlatinum in pure sales

Sales #1 and even when taking into account sales decline, it wouldn't come close to TOTGA's total sales. And let's not even talk about YT streams and radio peaks.

I'm not sure why so many people are surprised that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's song is selling so strongly? Their first collaboration 20 years ago, "It's Your Love", rose to #7 on the Hot 100 in the first half of 1997 based 99.9% on sales. IYL spent 17 weeks in the Top 40, even though only a small handful of AC stations were brave enough to test the song. IYL sold 1.5-2 M physical singles. Remember, Country Airplay wasn't added into the radio panel until December 1998. Love's performance on BB's CAC was incredible as well, but I don't want to get that far off of the topic.

No. Bad song 

What did you guys expect from Zayn? He was literally, a 1 month thing.  

His album flopped, all of the album's singles following PILLOWTALK flopped. I Don't Wanna Live Forever is a song with Taylor Swift as lead artist, ofcourse it was gonna be successful. This only proves anyone who expected Zayn to actually be a big part in selling the song / Zayn being in it would bring huge sales & a #1 debut is dumb. 

His album has sold 200K, less than Melanie Martinez's album. There was no way he was recreating PILLOWTALK's success in the slightest, the hype for him is gone.
