This is happening in Kherson daily: Just one video out of hundreds. These drones don't fall randomly, they are operated by humans who can see exactly where they're landing. They even hunted and killed a 1 year old child deliberately. And everything's recorded. Evidence clear as day. Yet most people have never even heard about it. This won't go viral. No one's gonna make TikToks or Instagram posts about this. It's beyond me that people can care about anything else regarding Ukraine more than this - a human safari in Kherson.

When someone supports Palestine and Palestine only, that's socially acceptable and no one asks them "but what about Congo and Sudan?" But the moment you show any sympathy or support towards Ukraine while they're fighting Russian imperialism you're immediately harassed about Gaza, even when you don't support Israel. Out of all the countries you could be mad at, you chose Ukraine. And I bet your country is way more supportive of Israel than Ukraine. This is just embarrassing and shows how little you know. There's absolutely nothing about Ukraine that should infuriate you more than the human safari that russians are conducting in Kherson, not Zelensky, not any flaw or imperfection about Ukraine. So if it's unacceptable, then you agree that the stance that Ukraine should just give up and that it's "just a proxy war" (partially stripping Russia of their responsibility and Ukrainians of their agency) is also unacceptable. Not that it's the same, because no genocide or war is ever the same, but it doesn't take much to advocate for both the liberation of Palestine and Ukraine or any other people or to simply stick to talking about Palestine if that's what someone is more informed about. If I were alive during the genocide in Bosnia, while at the same time a genocide in Rwanda was happening (with an infinitely larger amounts of victims), I'd try to advocate for Rwanda without dismissing Bosnia (that received albeit very little help, while Rwanda didn't). Drawing comparisons doesn't mean you think it's the same, but it can help some people understand someone else's position more clearly sometimes.

If I were to use the same talking points Hasan uses for Ukraine, and used them for Palestine, you'd call me a genocide supporter, and rightfully so. It's a fact, let it go" Those are all the things he says about Ukraine. And yes, I do have a disdain for the DSA. Hypothetically, if Palestine had an army, and the US was helping them, and the DSA was bending over backwards to prove that they shouldn't get help, you'd think they're on Israel's side, right? That's what the DSA does with Ukraine. If you want them to not get military help, and just allow Russia to take over, you do indeed support Russia. And Russian occupation is no joke, what people go through under Russian occupation are serious nightmares. However that is usually only discovered once the Ukrainian army liberates a city under occupation. I'm not going to describe in detail what those people went through, if you understand Ukrainian or Russian you can hear their stories. And yes, there is settler colonialism happening in occupied territories. After they completely leveled Mariupol, they started importing Russians. People outside Ukraine not knowing much about it is a different topic. Now, all the tankies like him could simply just talk about Palestine - talk about what they know, instead of doing a disservice to people going through a war that they're ill informed about.

There are normal leftists out there who advocate for Palestine without pushing Russian propaganda. It's really not that hard, it's a completely and utterly black and white conflict. I'd even prefer if he just simply stayed completely quiet on Ukraine instead of spreading misinformation. Occupation is occupation, whether it's Palestine or Ukraine.
