Not surprised. It should have been a Top Ten hit.

Katy Perry taking a break: "See you when I'm ready."
After how epically she fumbled what should have been the easiest comeback with 143, she definitely needs to retire and go do some musical soul-searching.

Did Shania Twain fall off?
Yes, but she already achieved a wonderful comeback. 2011-2018 were excellent years for her. She had the OWN miniseries, her Vegas residency, the Rock This Country and Now tour and album, and all of those were received well. That was the last I remember genuine hype and excitement, as well as respect for her legacy and her as a person. Things have really gone downhill since 2023. I think some of her recent appearances and performances have made her a bit of a joke on social media, from her vocals to style to mannerisms, which have been a bit bizarre at times, and this is from someone who has seen her in concert 3 times. They need to clean up her Spotify too. It's quite messy, which doesn't help. But also, she's 60. Unless you're Madonna, you're not going to set the charts on fire. And despite some of the ridicule towards her, at the end of the day, it's Shania Twain. She's got nothing left to prove anymore. She's a legend. She can sell arenas for the rest of her career with ease. Her legacy is cemented.
