Signature songwriting means she contributed the most, correct? A hive will struggle to list the songs because they know we will look up the writing credits. It appears that the Hive in here were bringing up the way she “sings” the songs as signature songwriting and that's not the same thing. The post above this one did the exact thing. If there is such a signature songwriting style for Beyoncé it would be her usage of samples.

What exactly is “earlier work” where the alleged signature writing took place? I just looked and every song on her debut album has multiple writers some having 4 or more. I was than assuming ya meant during the DC days so I looked at the DC albums and those as well have multiple writers on every song. The Writings on the Wall having a handful of songs written by Kandi Buruss whom I didn’t know wrote multiple songs on that album. Fan fiction is what you and the other 2 are attempting it seems.

I always sense she wanted the 1989 TV to be without features so the Nicki alleged feature was a ridiculous theory from the fans. However, It does look unethical that she is not including the Kendrick Lamar version of Bad Blood into the track list of the TV when his version is the one that gave her another #1 and a Grammy award. Bad Blood remix played a big role in the 1989 era and it would be shameful if it got belittled to being a limited edition Target bonus track. It should at least get a stand-alone version released. Some of the Speak Now vault songs don’t fit the album theme at all so I’m curious if those songs are really Speak Now rejects. It’s also a little worrisome that she hasn’t been specific on the vault songs on why they were left out, who was the intended feature artist back then, who has has the original demo, etc. For example was Nothing New a feature? Who was the feature? Etc a woman in her early 20’s writing about feeling old is very suspicious lol

Same here. I never listened to the original in full and I had the TV version on repeat for a few days so the re-records are definitely bringing in new listeners and I sense this was unexpected? I still visit some of the songs, however When Emma Falls in Love is my most played.
