well she's never going to be able to please everyone, everyone's got a different idea of what her strengths are musically and who she should be as an artist. one album she's too boring and we need pop-bangers-ellie back the next she's gone too pop and we need the old ellie back. personally really liked 4 seasons and black prada dress (ravers is okay), like the sound of the title track and even tho it ain't on the album destiny's one of my favourite ellie songs ever. i'm always kinda bewildered by the lukewarm reaction to everything new she releases cause i would think there's actually a lot for ellie fans to like but respect everyone's opinion.

out of the snippets this song seems to be the favourite like everywhere but here so i think it's the best choice as the next single not surprised tho cause brightest blue is also generally considered a fan favourite but on here it's mostly called her worst so i think it's pretty clear the kinda ellie music this forum likes/doesn't like

When you have a timeless catalogue full of hits She's risen 10M+ monthly listeners since the end of last year and this year all her hit songs have either had their biggest streaming day ever (Outside, Lights, Starry Eyed, Anything Could Happen) or their biggest day in years (Hate Me, Close To Me, Love Me Like You Do, On My Mind, I Need Your Love), now we just need to figure out how to get them to stream the new music too

I don't recall her talking badly about BB unless I missed something, I think it's actually her album she's stood by the most no? And yet its the least well regarded on here funnily enough so idk

tbh i'm a bit nervous cause i loved easy to love me and destiny and i'm not as crazy about black prada dress upon first listen i haven't not loved any of her albums so i'm sure this'll be the same but i really was excited for a destiny-esque album

I think the only lead female songs with more plays on YT Music are Love Me Like You Do (5.3B) and Waka Waka (6.8B) Love Me Like You Do has 2.475B on Spotify but gains twice the daily streams pretty consistently so could come close after some years, altho the AM gap might be kinda big. Waka Waka only has 1B on Spotify but its so massive on Youtube alone it could surpass it eventually
