Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip'
It's July and they still haven't released the Inna version of Eurosummer - what are they waiting on? I was listening to the Eurosummer playlist on Spotify, which Zara is the face of, and Bailando by Paradisio came on, a quintessential euro summer pop song. I kind of wish the Girls Trip version of Eurosummer had taken inspiration from another euro summer sound, like Paradisio's 90s beach‑pop vibe.

Robyn - "Dancing On My Own" Revival Thread
It's about time the greatest female pop song of the 21st century got the global recognition it should've had when it was released. I hope it has a Lush Life moment (which is still going strong on Spotify.)

sombr - "My Body Isn't Ready"
I don't understand his release strategy Homewrecker came out like a week after the release of his debut album. I feel like the song had potential to do even better had it been released at a later date. Then he put out Potential right after Homewrecker, but it got buried under the success of Back to Friends and Homewrecker. And now, not long since the release of Potential, he's launched, My Body Isn't Ready, the third single of his 2nd album. What's the rush? Why are they not interested in spacing out the releases more to allow each song to achieve its full potential?

Tove Lo - "I'm Your Girl Right?"
Tove Lo has dropped the best female pop song of 2026 so far, imo. It sounds so good on loud speakers in a car. and the video elevated the song even more.

Eurovision Song Contest 2026 | Congrats Bangaranga!
I don't care for the studio version of the winning song, but the live performance was so strong that I get why it won. Kudos to the Swedish choreographer and the Swedish dancers who helped Dara secure the victory. Very surprised that Finland didn't receive more points from the public. I thought they had it in the bag. My top 5 based on studio recordings: 1 Denmark /// 2 Finland /// 3 Greece /// 4 Israel /// 5 Cyprus

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun: Girls Trip'
It seems like such a missed opportunity to not release the original version of Euro Summer with Inna as a single in Europe. I think the nostalgia factor could help it become a summer hit. They should get easyJet to pay for the music video. I hope Zara and her team had the sense to shoot some scenes for the Euro Summer - Girls Trip music video in Europe as well. It'd be weird if it were all Miami. Is Midnight Sun finally becoming a global smash hit? I saw that it was charting on Spotify in some countries he hadn't charted in before (eg Germany).

Niall Horan - "Dinner Party"
Dinner Party is such a great song. I hope more people will discover it and it ends up becoming a hit for him.

BLANCO - 'Ma''
I prefer this album over his 2nd album, which I found somewhat lackluster. I just wish it had more of his gritty, rowdy edge. Some of my favorite tracks: Ma, Tanto Non Rinasco, Ricordi, Fuori Dai Denti, Maledetta Rabbia, Un Posto Migliore Still confused why Maledetta Rabbia underperformed. I think it's one of his best songs. For his next album maybe he should look into collaborating with more producers.

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun'
Zara's Stateside is now the most streamed song of the Fancy That era (Illegal was previously the most streamed). It has over three times as many streams as the original single. The lowest streamed song on Midnight Sun has more than four times as many streams as the lowest streamed song on Venus. Zara's New Year's Rocking Eve live performance has more views than the music video for Crush.

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun'
I really hope they're planning on releasing the deluxe with a bonus CD containing the Midnight Sun Tour. I don't understand why her label hasn't released more of her live recordings on streaming services when she's such an amazing live performer. I also think they should include Stateside on the deluxe since her verse made the song go viral.

Sam Fender finally getting some well deserved global chart success?
Sam Fender's Brit Award winning Song of the Year, Rein Me In with Olivia Dean, released in June, is enjoying a second life and is currently smashing in Australia, New Zealand, Britain, and Ireland. Will it become a global smash hit in the next few weeks? Spotify: #2 Ireland, #4 Australia , #4 United Kingdom #5 New Zealand

ROSALÍA - 'LUX'
I've listened to the album several times and while I'm not as in awe of the album as music critics, there are few songs that I think are absolutely brilliant. Basically, I'm a fan of the pretty songs. 1. Sexo, Violencia y Llantas (3 Stars) 2. Reliquia (5 Stars - This is heavenly. Why isn't it a hit?) 3. Divinize (3 Stars - It's widely praised as one of the album's best, which I'm struggling to get. It's nice, though I think there are stronger tracks on the album.) 4. Porcelana (1 Star - The only thing I like about it is the instrumental outro) 5. Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti (3 Stars - I feel like I should like this more than I do) 6. Berghain (3.5 Stars - 5 stars for Rosalia's part, 3 Stars for Bjork, and 1 star for Yves) 7. La Perla (4 Stars - It's good, but I'm surprised it's the most streamed song) 8. Mundo Nuevo (4.5 Stars - Haunting.) 9. De Madrugá (3 Stars - I like the grittiness of it but I'm glad it's short because I think it'd be grating if it had been longer) 10. Dios Es Un Stalker (4 Stars - Very strong chorus, but I'm not a fan of how the song ends abruptly) 11. La Yugular (5 Stars - The 2nd part is glorious. It would've been even better with an explosive choir) 12. Sauvignon Blanc (5 Stars - Such a beautiful song) 13. La Rumba del Perdón (2 Stars - It feels like a 10 min song. Not a fan.) 14. Memória (3 Stars - It's pretty but a bit of a snore compared to Sauvignon Blanc) 15. Magnolias (5 Stars - The stunning album closer is the best song on the album)

ROSALÍA - 'LUX'
I was looking at the Spotify streaming numbers and I was SHOCKED to learn that the brilliant Sauvignon Blanc and Magnolias were the 2nd and 3rd least streamed songs. What the hell?

Robyn - "Dopamine"
I was disappointed at first but it has grown on me massively. Happy to see it's smashing in Sweden. I didn't think it would be super appealing to the GP.

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun'
Fun fact: The lowest streamed song on Midnight Sky has already outstreamed the lowest streamed song on Venus.

Zara Larsson - 'Midnight Sun'
Blue Moon is POP perfection. This is definitely her most cohesive album to date with massive replay value. I do wonder how differently this era might have unfolded had she released Midnight Sun, the best commercial female pop single of 2025, as the first single, followed by Blue Moon and Hot & Sexy. Not releasing Eurosummer as a special summer single for the European market is such a missed opportunity. If they release a deluxe version of the album, they should include a new version of Eurosummer featuring Euro pop girls, eg Aitana (Spain), Angèle (Belgium), Elodie (Italy)... Her team has really dropped the ball on the UK market. TikTok do your job and make the songs go viral!

sombr - 'I Barely Know Her'
I'm puzzled as to why the album tracks aren't doing better on Spotify, considering that: He currently has three hits on Spotify. His tour dates are selling out within minutes globally. The album is fantastic.
-
sombr - 'I Barely Know Her'
I'm impressed with how he has written all of the songs himself. How many artists these days do that, besides Sam Fender? I Wish I Knew How To Quit You is another smash hit.
-
Why are artists pumping out songs?
Sombr currently has two hit singles on Spotify. A few weeks ago, he released a new single that is not charting on Spotify's global top 200. Alex Warren released two singles shortly after Ordinary became an international hit. Of the two, only one is currently charting on Spotify's Global Top 200 at 194. Why don't labels wait to release a new single until the current hit has peaked, to avoid it being overshadowed and missing out on becoming a hit single? Is it better to release multiple singles within a short timeframe?

Guitarricadelafuente - 'Spanish Leather'
This album is a triumph. The five star rating it received from Rolling Stone is so well deserved. The best album in Spanish, imo, since C.Tangana's 'El Madrileño' Unfortunately, none of the songs have exactly set the charts on fire. I hope his label continues to recognize his potential and support his career.
