well... ive finished the listen and its.. an interesting album. I think that trying to prioritize this idea of "poetry" or "good lyricism" has resulted in the sacrifice of the songs actually... sounding good? i very much get love + fear by marina vibes... HOWEVER. this is not the case for the whole album! Standouts are Florida, Guilty as Sin?, Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?, Clara Bow, and The Black Dog. The rest of the songs, though, are **** im sorry 😭

NOOO WE LOST... SONGS 8-10 WERE GOOD... but i can fix him (no really i can) has ruined the streak ITS as bad as the first half of the album we lost

oh thank the lord... im on whos afraid of little old me and its good too??? stop the first seven songs were genuinely so bad (like marina love+fear type)... very very glad its picked up and hope the momentum continues

ok wait is the 2nd half better???? first seven songs were ****. florida was the first good song, guilty as sin is good... PLEASE TELL ME THE REST OF THE ALBUM IS LIKE THIS

well.. it happened again. not sure if y'all remember but last time, jazmine showed up @ kenzo's place and that whole fight ensued (i think there was a thread) and led to arrests and etc. a few hours ago, a cardi b fan (@blazedbardi) began following jazmine around and stalking their location and threw a raw burrito at them. this culminated in blazedbardi being arrested.

well not the bigger artists - but you can't deny it's played a large hand in the launching of some careers and even the revival of older artists' songs - esp in this climate where a viral old song can end up being more profitable than a new big song.

i feel like this is gonna harm UMG more than itll harm tiktok - very much agree on the side about how tiktok treats their artists/compensation (and how it should very much be improved) - but i dont see tiktok backing out of this and suddenly compromising
