Is 'Make a Scene' a perfect pop album?
It’s a very good album, albeit a bit dated for today’s standards. It was one of the best things to come out in 2011 and one of my top 3 albums that year.

is ROSALIA shaping up to be the Latina Beyonce?
Oh, the gatekeeping… Romantic languages (originated from Latin, you know that old dead language?) and its people (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and, to some extent, Romania) consider themselves Latino since the term has nothing to do with colonisation of that place now known as Latin America. Actually, Latin America got that name because it was colonised by people coming from one of those countries. You’re welcome!

Does anybody ever really ‘find’ themselves?
35 here. Life is an ongoing quest for self discovery but everything gets better in your late 20s (hopefully). You live, you learn, you fall, you pick yourself back up. Rinse. Repeat. You’ve got a whole life ahead of you and the next 10 years will be magical. You’re gonna live and learn so much. I think it’s got more to do with being comfortable in your own skin and accepting you’re prone to make mistakes.

Would the Prism era have mega smashed had the singles gone like this?
Legendary Lovers shoulda been single. As much as I love Birthday, not sure it was a good choice. Walking on Air is cute but don’t know if GP would embrace it.

Apple Music or Spotify?
I kinda use both platforms: Spotify for podcasts and quick searches and Apple Music for library management and music listening. Had to subscribe to Apple Music since we’ve got a few HomePods in the gaff and I guess each service has its pros and cons. Spotify Pros: much faster than AM, less glitchy, Spotify connect, group session, relevant search results and much better algorithm when it comes to auto play. Cons: that user interface, library management and podcasts being shoved down your throat. Apple Music Pros: lovely user interface, lyrics (Spotify’s isn’t as good), music videos, radio stations, library management being their biggest advantage (it’s possible to change album covers, edit album and song titles and so much more), smart playlists. Cons: the app is so slow, glitchy and sometimes unresponsive. Search feature is a joke and god forbid you to try and transfer the music being played on your phone to a HomePod. It’s a nightmare and so not intuitive. Actually the interaction between iPhone/iPad and HomePod is their biggest downfall. If Spotify decided to improve their UI, added better library management and offered support to AirPlay 2 I would cancel AM in a heartbeat.

Is Katy Perry the new Paula Abdul?
Well, Paula was forced to retire after a serious accident - while she was somewhat on top. Meanwhile Katy’s still around- tormenting us with her subpar songs.
