Yes, his popularity is mostly because of the music industry's desperation to introduce another male pop superstar, they haven't been able to do that since the likes of justin bieber, bruno mars & ed sheeran who are still doing well (also shawn mendes for a period of 3 years), they have produced olivia rodrigo & billie eilish from the females in recent years but no male pop stars, so you'll see a lot from media acting like he's the new king of pop & his music is generational.

I think lack of new hits plays a big role in the fact that radio keeps playing the same old songs over and over, i fail to name more than 2 hits released in 2022 (or maybe I've been out of touch lately).

I was trolling even as someone who likes JB, I'm glad it's finally making room for other songs. 38 weeks is such a long period time though, has there ever been a song with more weeks in top 10? maybe "blinding lights"?

"Stay"'s been having big decreases past few days, hate to see it

"One Right Now" should've started dropping months ago ffs, I hate this strategy of keeping a song a float on radio for months until it finally happens.

"Ghost" should start rising back to the top, no idea why it's still decreasing, it's still #1 on callouts & hits new streaming peaks.

I find it weird how "Ghost" keeps on declining and "TWIW" keeps on rising despite "Ghost" having better callouts & consumption
