I don't know how I feel about this take. I love ARTPOP but let me just say, First, yes it is diverse (like BTW) in terms of genres (EDM infused with Mariachi, R n'B, Trap, Rock, Disco) and is creative in ways, the album's overall sound was already outdated when it had came out. How could an album truly be experimental if it's sound was already dated when it had came out? Aura is a very unique song and wildy different from anything at the time but it's instrumental had already been pre bought. I am fascinated with this album and it's concept (Also think it could of had like 3 different themes/ sounds, from the way it was first introduced as, promoted as vs. what we actually got on the CD) but don't understand when people say it was "experimental" because I think that may be a little bit of a stretch.

What is your favorite Katy Album title? I'm gonna say Teenage Dream closely followed by One Of The Boys

Even despite the whole Dr. Luke situation, it's falls far below of delivering. It's a very bland, generic and lifeless album. It makes Witness and Smile look like solid records. Nothing about is really excels!

She has more than Katy & Selena. Atleast she has evolved as an Artist. Going from her first 2 records to GGGB to Rated R. Then releasing the iconic Loud and then coming out with Anti after 2 weaker records. Anti is a solid body of work! Katy hasn't evolved since TD and Selena has 0 talent and artistry.
