  1. True. Caution had some great moments.
  2. That can indeed be a factor. Menopause won't be an issue forever, so if that is the case. She should be able to work with her voice once menopause is over. Her nodules will be as always a double edge sword. But i don't think they should cause much trouble than usual, in the normal conditions from years ago, she was still able to deliver vocals and energy. So i would say menopause could likely be the main issue right now.
  3. Also her attitude and voice in those 2020 clips from when covid was causing so much problem, were really great. What could have happened the past years?
  4. She looked great. Also i think she should be more relax, like when we hear things from reharsals like in Circles. Her voice in that clip is nice. I liker how she started to improvise parts in her current voice. But i wonder, if you guys think that all the drama and mess that happened in her life from 2014-2017 has killed her confidence on stage forever? Even in inerviews at times, she looks stressed. And it shouldn't be that way. She should be enjoying her life and legacy, as she has nohing left to prove.
  5. The Memoirs Tour had many strong vocal moments. But i would say 2010 to 2014, her voice was pretty consisent overall.
  6. I highly doub it. Also for the longest time. Men have been the center of most movies, tv shows, comics etc. And still we have people in 2024 saying society is too harsh on men or that they don't get enough credit? Come on now. Just watch the way women have been treated in most films for the longest time. Look at the old jame bond movies, the typical horror films, like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Where a female character gets a more brutal and painful dead than the men. Countless shows, movies etc where women have been portrayed as dumb, submissive, and the men are the stars that save the day. To think that Barbie movie is bashing men is just not accurate.
  7. 2009 had many great live vocals. And this C5 belt in Always Be My Baby, is super strong. Could it be her best C5? What do you guys think? Min 2:43.
  8. I said energy. Not dance moves. You think she has never been energetic on stage? What about the performances above?
  9. Would you say she was not giving energy in Divas live 98 for example? in Live 8 2005? or VH1 live 2005? @RussianRoulette @Gottasadae @suburbannature
  10. She may not be a performer with complex dance moves. But Mariah has had many moments where she truly worked the stage in her own way. Which are your fav moments where mimi was truly giving a lot of energy on stage?
  11. The Spice Girls exist. Each of them with their own look and personaliy.
  12. Thank you so much guys. So it is probably a fake.
  13. HI. I have a question, hope somebody here can help me to figure this out. I was thinking of buying a Coco Lee album. Her exposed album. I saw a version on ebay. But there is not enough info in my opinion to know if it is an original copy or not of this cd, it is not a vnly as far as i know. This is the link. What do you guys think about it? https://www.ebay.fr/itm/126259720233
  14. So Daydream is officially her biggest selling album overall now? @stevyy
  15. Indeed. Whenever you Call too. Or Without You in 2000. Even in the dates her voice was tired in those tours. She still could deliver great vocal moments.
  16. In the end, they didn't need to. They still became legends and 3 of the biggest music figures in history.
  17. Butterfly era deserves the love.
  18. Mimi's legendary voice has had changes in tone depending on he era. Which is your fav Mariah era based on her tone?
  19. You seem to spend a lot of time thinking about Mariah don't you? I recommend you some of her best songs and lyrics. Like Outside, Looking in, Butterfly, Close My Eyes. Or maybe a bop called Obsessed. OT. Jlo is the bigger artist in the US overall, but Kylie has been more consisent with her music career. So that gave her the advantage in the end. Veterans and iconic artists like them do not need more hits anyway. They are set for life, and have nothing left to prove.
  20. How many hit remixes has Madonna had in the past years with collabs? Oh God, guess she is irrelevant.
  21. Mariah and Madonna have for the longest time, done similar streaming numbers outside xmas. So my point stands still. Is Madonna irrelevant? Maybe we need @stevyy to post the numbers. How is Mariah doing compared to all the oher 80s and 90s female veterans outside xmas?
  22. So does this mean all the veterans that no longer score hits, including Madonna are irrelevant all year long? Because that is the kind of logic you are using.
  23. That is simply not true. Not when her Albums Janet., Velvet Rope and Greatest hits, all sold over 4 million copies outside the North America. She also hit singles outside the north america. And she was easily selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide during those eras.
  24. No it is not. It is very arrogant to think that everybody must have the same approach to music in order to have a ''point of view''. Every artist is different. Whitney And Mariah have a point of view and their own style to approach music. Madonna is not the authority of what is or what isn't qualility music. Nobody is. Art is subjective. And there are no videos of Mariah pre 1996 saying anything bad about Madonna. All videos are from when she was asked in interviews abou the things Madonna said about her from 95/96.
