  1. Snippet on her first tiktok was awful too.
  2. On this point, she doesn't need to follow the same cliches about her last works but one song that secure her legacy on 2020s pop era.
  3. Swish Swish was top tier, your ears just f*cked up.
  4. Sexy confident... So intelligent... Give me just one f*ckin' nose that will make worse this terrible lyrics.
  5. I hate to say it but she better do something for charts.
  6. Katy has never been a legend at songwriting but I feel tired as hell to see her still lackin' at lyricism. That second snippet is much catchy than first but totally I feel same about the single. Working with Kim Petras and Dr. Luke -although his public image, he is one of the most successful producers in pop music genre- are one of the greatest chances for her career and she might use it well.
  7. Actualy I'm not expected an era as pure and sweet as TD but well arranged and a bit mature. I feel better for second snippet than first but the song already has the first snippet's part. All that robotic thing is better for her I think cuz the current rotation of pop music goes to hyperpop elements and robotic-experimental vibes inside of that. I just don't wanna see same Smile sh*t lyrics.
  8. That song is a hot mess unfortunately. I feel so bad about her musical career and KC's. She doesn't want to improve herself actually. When I heard lyrics from the snippet, I feel exhausted. When they release, I'll listen it once but not twice. For all the Dr. Luke madness, I don't think that bad about it. If they had produced a really good, catchy comeback single, all this nonsense wouldn't even be talked about.

  11. Exactly. Witness is Katy's most ambitious project to date but her wrong choices just shitted on. Katycats weren't ready to it. Just look at Swish Swish, how she defined a whole new Neo-dance pop genre to 2020s artists. They already want to hear mid 2010s pop bangers but industry fully changed.
  12. Yes, you don't need to be a good songwriter or a vocalist to make experimental music, but you need to get support from music critics to stay on the industry and create a real legacy, and that's either with the quality of your vocals, by your songwriting, or by pushing the boundaries of your music. I wish she had at least developed herself in one of them so that we could regard her as a pop music genius. I'm making a review of total good intentions, a pop music legend like Katy deserves more than that. Also, Arca was not a specific one. She can also work with a psychedelic rock figure like Tame Impala, just like Dua Lipa does.
  13. I'm not against her but facts. Katy never been an excellent writer or a vocalist so there're no reason to make some experimental stuff w someone like Arca etc. Although it can be a flop then, at least we hear some applauses by critics.
  14. As someone who has gave more than 7 years to Katy's music, including TD to Witness eras, I feel that when I listen to newly released music, there is no reason to get into Katy's music anymore. Unfortunately, Katy has never truly pushed the boundaries of her music -except for the Witness album which was also has several filler tracks and she seemed unsure about what she was doing in that era- Based on leaked producer credits, I believe her upcoming album will be influenced by Kim Petras, which is actually a good point for her. However, as we've seen with examples like Dua Lipa, if a dance-pop album is on the horizon, it will be an another flop album. She needs to put a well directed experimental era and some good lyrical stuff to get the critical acclaim cuz' the industry will not give any chances to another generic bubblegum pop album.
