After my first listen I will say that the kevin tracks >>>>>>> the danny/Ian tracks. His production is so lush and full that you can immediately tell the difference

this would have been on par with renny quality-wise if she had cut a lot of the filler from the first half. Nevertheless, the album is still an 8/8.5/10 for me, especially with that run from YA YA onwards

This troye remix is GODLY you can tell they actually put effort into it unlike the yes'and remix

Her + troye are doing a joint US tour so I think it'll be summer

yeah... this easily clears pt.1 for me everything is just hitting so much harder for me on this album

The sharp artistic decline she's taken since emotion has been... disappointing to say the least

please let it be a boxset with the deluxe + singles club era tracks

I'm also very upset that the supposed Looze U snippet that was spreading on twitter didn't end up being the actual album track

yeahhh... I've listened to this 3 times front-to-back and I'm just not feeling it. My biggest issue is that outside of the interludes these songs seem to lack any kind of distinct identity. I can think of at least 5 other artists who make similar songs, which is such a let down after chloe carved out such a distinct musical identity on the CxH projects. I'm hoping that with this solo album out of the way they can finish up CxH3 and give us the actual serves

After 3 listen-throughs here's my final ranking: Flowers - 3/10 : I was never really a fan of this and think it's one of her weakest single choices imo Jaded - 7/10 : I dig the production + pre-chorus but the actual chorus falls a little flat for me Rose Colored Lenses - 7.5/10 : I don't know why but the production gives me tame impala - lite vibes?? Thousand Miles - 7/10 : the fact that brandi got snow on the beached is such a kii to me You - 5/10 : this was just forgettable for me + the production sounds muffled(?) for me Handstand - 7.5/10 : the production is promising but it just never explodes and kind of falls flat River - 5/10 : the production just sounds very dated to me especially since the 80's/synth revival was 3 years ago Violet Chemistry - 8/10 : although this has that 80's influence as well it just sounds more fresh Muddy Feet - 8/10 : loved this one too but once again the features artist basically just phoning in background vocals is a kii Wildcard - 3/10 : meh Island - 8/10 : Wonder Woman - 3/10 : This didn't really do anything for me to the point that I can't even really remember the melody Overall, I'd give the album a 5 or 6/ 10. Unfortunately, the production just falls flat in most of the songs for me and I kept feeling like something was missing.
