Employment rates amongst young men hit historic lows. Why?
A May analysis by the American Institute for Boys and Men found that labor force participation among men ages 16 to 24 fell from 69% in 2000 to 57% in 2025, the largest drop among the male age groups it examined. The group also found that the share of young men who were not in school and not seeking work doubled from 4% to 8% between 1990 and 2024. A January report from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas found that younger workers have seen employment declines in occupations with high exposure to AI. The report cited a Stanford study showing that employment for workers ages 22 to 25 in the most AI-exposed occupations had fallen 13% since 2022, while employment for less exposed or more experienced workers was steadier. Healthcare remained one of the strongest sectors and accounted for nearly three-quarters of net job growth in 2025, while several white-collar sectors, including tech, media and professional services, were weaker than before the pandemic. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2026/08/a-surprising-group-is-disappearing-from-the-job-market.html

Taylor Swift
I never bought the TTPD is bad propaganda. The melody when she sings "You take my ring off my middle finger and put it on the one people put wedding rings on" part is so catchy and endlessly replayable.

Troye Sivan - "She's the Best"
Hopefully he releases a new song fast and we move on from this travesty ASAP. He can scrap it from the album too. Looking at the streams, it would not be a loss. And the album cover SUCKS!!!! He is really testing me...

What's going on with Spotify streams?
Different algorythm + more competition from other platforms + lots of people mostly listen to AI music now + crackdown on API's

Do you support guerilla gardening?
Guerilla gardening is the act of planting seeds in unused areas in order to support nature and fight climate change in small ways, mainly done in cities or crowded areas. The idea is that when there are unused patches of land, people throw or plant seeds of low-maintenance plant types on these areas in order to allow something to grow. It's said to be really good for bees and butterflies, but the law frowns upon it pretty much everywhere globally. There are communities engaged in these activities. What do you make of it?

Sam Smith is working on an intense electropop-hyperpop album
Through the interview they express that they are already working on the follow-up album to Hazel Eyes (18.10) which is mostly hookless and not catchy on purpose (15:20). Sam's guy loves hyperpop and heavy pop music (10.45) so that's the inspiration. 18.30-19:30: "Its in a more naughty playful way. Hazel eyes is a traditional queer love romance album and while making that I'm hungry to shake my titties and encapsulate how I feel in my relationship where I love to dance and I am free and I am still inspired by intense hyperop and electro sounds." Also Sam revealed their team did not want they to release Unholy as the lead single.

Camila Cabello
I feel like she went through at least 5 iterations of the album, she has been working on it for so long. There must be a lot of scrapped material.
