  1. I agree, but the GP has the attention span of a gnat and Stans obsess about this stuff for decades. "The Grudge" said exactly how she felt about she felt about the subject, and being any more explicit about it would create a thousand more weirdos that attack her relentlessly.
  2. Do swifities really want to hear the opinions of Taylor's peers that don't like her? If she ever "confirmed or denied" anything about her personal relationship with Taylor your fanbase in particular would tear her to shreds on a scale never before seen on the internet.
  3. I think the pain of her initial disappointment is gone and it's just a slightly cold relationship between coworkers now. She's seen Taylor a lot at various public and private events. It must be hard to maintain really intense feelings about it. I'm more interested in what Taylor thinks. The psychology behind "Clara Bow" in particular is… a lot.
  4. If she's smart she'll apologize to the girl and put out a statement blaming the security guard (she's not smart though)
  5. We all need to prepare for MAGA to openly support pedophilia. It's going to get really bad.
  6. Her artpop could mean anything!
  7. Also, the vocals are perfect. The best thing about the song.
  8. It's not perfect, or even a great song, but it's a huge step in the right direction. I think if she gives a genuine apology for working with doctor luke closer to the albums release she could build some real goodwill and momentum up. People really do want to root for her again
  9. They're going to hate him starting tomorrow lbr
  10. I'm confident that she could make another great album if she spent 3-4 years away and had some compelling life experiences/character development. But it's clear that the eras tour/her relationship with cte ken doll was a really boring time in her life. Which is fine! But like, don't make an album about it.
  11. When is she releasing the real album?
  12. She is literally the JK Rowling of the Gaza genocide. Like, she spends 23 hours out of the day obsessing about this
  13. This is just lovely. The switch to the outro is perfect. I hope this is a hit for her.
  14. The societal pressure towards opposite-sex relationships is really strong. And even in the most gay accepting places in the world you'll face some form of discrimination in a same-sex partnership. My red hot take is that bi women naturally gravitate towards long-term straight relationships for the same exact reasons bi men do. One of my favorite things about my bi ex was that he openly told me that he was going to be with a woman eventually and men were just a pit stop for him. Which, like, fair! I'd rather bi men have a gay phase instead of marrying a woman young and being dl
  15. i literally brought it up as a point of comparison between the leftists on this website falling over themselves to announce how they’re not voting and people who have to endure constant voter suppression but choose to show up anyway. the response i got from those leftists was to accuse black women of being diversity hires, downplay the importance of black women in the democratic coalition and diminish the importance of the millions of black voters who live in red states. i’ll find a better argument when leftists have a better response. but sorry for breaking up the “voting is useless” virtue signaling party.
  16. why do you have such a problem with black voters having their voice heard? did you complain about the far redder state Iowa having even greater importance than south carolina or do you only have a problem when the state in question is darker than a paper bag still not getting a response on why the bernie campaign never improved their performance after 2016 and instead did much worse
  17. and what did leftists learn from 2016? clearly it wasn’t “we should do a better job at appealing to black people in south carolina so bernie can win this time”.
  18. wow, i didn’t actually think you’d take the bait and call the vice president and a supreme court justice “diversity hires”. that’s pretty racist! best of luck electing anyone to the left of elizabeth warren with that attitude
  19. that was 3 national elections ago leftists move pass 2016 challenge (impossible)
  20. and yet black women still vote consistently and decide who the democratic nominee will be. they are the most powerful demographic in he democratic party. why is that? do you think you know something they don’t? do you think the democrats are tricking them somehow? (dismissing a supreme court seat and the vice presidency as “identity-based selections” is exactly why leftists lose black women every primary)
  21. all the rationalizations in here about why you’re throwing your vote away are so funny “i live in a blue city in a purple county in a red state” lmaooo as if your vote is some sort of strategic bargaining chip and the democrats are supposed to beg for it. the left will never amass and wield any power if your reaction to someone you don’t like getting elected is to announce “I WILL NOT RELIABLY VOTE! I AM EXTREMELY FICKLE! I GIVE UP VERY EASILY!!” it’s like you actively want politicians to ignore you
  22. i think certain terminally online people conflate fun up-tempo music with lower quality.
  23. she’s inching towards coming out as a republican
