I'm pretty sure she's saying other songs can't compare to Why Try and Touch It, not dragging them.

Obviously on a week with an album bomb a chart without radio will feature those songs heavily Show the rest of the chart without Harry songs.

Realistically, this album likely won because all of the other albums had vote splitting against several albums of the same genre, but still nice to see the grammys getting it right

Both are extremely impressive and neither should be diminished. No one thought the NSYNC record would ever be beaten, just like how no one thought Adele's record would.

Messy is really good, but it really serves one hit wonder with how specific it is and the fact she is British. She reminds of Lily Allen but the reality is few Brits cross over more than 1 hit song in the US.

There's a disconnect between his chart performance and popularity. Slow it down peaked at #32 but has 750 million streams on Spotify. Not sure what the problem is with the new debuts but maybe they will serve similar longevity

As several others have mentioned—Roc Nation has brought a minimalist style to all of the performances. In my opinion this style is not the best and has not highlighted the performing skills of the exceptional black artists that have performed.

To be honest I haven't really liked any of the halftime shows since Jay-Z took over. Overall I feel the style changed completely and just hasn't been as musically appealing. The visuals are pretty good though.

Love both lists, and think she can be really great with Jack. I just wish he (or other producers) would help edit her songwriting a bit

Both Gaga and Bruno are huge Grammy darlings. I would be really surprised if this doesn't win ROTY!

The sound is great but the lyrics try a little too hard to be edgy outcast

Also it was much more popular in the US than worldwide. Many US centric hits have relatively low total streams.

I love the album but the interludes really bother. Why would she design an album to be listened from front to back and then jam in a bunch of talking interludes? It just doesn't work on that level for me. I honestly want to make a playlist of the whole album without any of the interludes.

Streaming tends to be dominated by younger listeners, and traditional R&B has largely been supplanted by rap or hip-hop for most young people. Hopefully acts like SZA can start to revitalize R&B going forward!
