Meghan Trainor - 'Toy With Me'
Overall there's some filler but I enjoyed the album. Some of the lyrics are a bit cringe and she desperately needs a new stylist and makeup team, but she still has probably the catchiest melodies in pop music right now. People counted her out after Treat Myself flopped but she showed she can still get a hit with Made You Look, as long as she can get the image together she can find success.
- Did P!nk achieve the long career that Christina deserved?
- Is this actually the worst pop girl lead of all times?

Name a hilariously bad album title
Sugar Honey Iced Tea or whatever it's called. Literally ****.

Better songwriter? Lady Gaga Vs. Lily Allen
It's Lily, she's easily the best pop songwriter of this century, and definitely in the discussion for all time. Basically every current songwriter has taken inspiration from her. The Fear is the best written pop song of all time.

Spotify | Lily Allen - West End Girl | Day 7: 7,964,965 streams (unfiltered)
The fact that it did similar numbers to brat with basically a surprise drop, no hype and no pre-release single is honestly insane.

JT - "Girls Gone Wild"
Sounds so good. If only Nicki had interesting production like this.

What does Billboard need to ban first: Radio, album bombs, variants or long albums?
First ban Christmas music from charting on the H100, then reduce radio, then limit variants. Album bombs are fine because if the songs are being streamed enough to all chart highly, that's a great achievement, and it only lasts a week or two anyway. Christmas music ruins the charts every single year for like 6 weeks, radio is just playing the same 5 songs over and over again, and variants are out of control.

The Black Eyes Peas- Rock That Body (2025 Revival Thread)
BEP were unknown before Fergie joined, then started flopping into oblivion as soon as she left. I can't believe they haven't gotten her back yet

62 percent of Democrats agree party leadership should be replaced
You're right, but at the same time you have to acknowledge that LGBT people are a minority, and the vote that they really need is the average straight white cisgender person. People will forever vote in their own self-interests, so surely the Democrats should focus on broad appeal issues that everyone can relate to? Trump constantly went on and on about bringing prices down etc. and people went out to vote for him. Kamala (correctly) pointed out that it would end in disaster but in the age of TikTok people just want the soundbites and quick and simple messaging. In an ideal world the leader would be pro-Palestine, pro-trans/LGBT rights, pro-women's rights etc, but running on only that is just not going to work. Have those be a part of the campaign on social media or something to ensure that the younger voters see that those things matter and will be important, but the main events should be focused on the core issues that affect all people.

SJP calls out double standards on TV: a male lead can be a murderer & people love him
Carrie faces the consequences of her terrible decisions right up until the movies In S4, she gets back with Aidan and won't commit (and brings Big around all the time which is psychotic) so he dumps her and almost evicts her, and Big then also abandons her without telling her. S5 she lives with that terrible haircut, is humiliated in public by Aidan's ex, and meets Berger. S6 she's still with Berger and moves to Paris just to be slapped in the face (figuratively and literally), realising that she had made a bad decision going there. And finally in the movies she makes the wedding all about her and he doesn't show, then they're like 50% separated in the second.

Addison Rae - "Fame is a Gun"
Headphones On = Fame Is A Gun = Diet Pepsi > Aquamarine >>>>> High Fashion. The first 4 are all 10/10, HF is like a 6 or 7. Can't believe I'm so excited for an Addison Rae album, and the fact that it'll probably be the best pop album of the year.

Sugababes - 'What Was That? (Lorde Cover)'
I really like the original but this is so much better. Mutya and Keisha ATE.

Worse: Dance Monkey, abcdefu or Anxiety?
Anxiety. abcdefu is beyond cringe but it's at least listenable, and Dance Monkey is terrible but it's only because of her vocals - production wise it's not the worst. Anxiety on the other hand is the culmination of every god awful trend in pop music (singing about anxiety and depression and being no fun, a sample of a popular song, payola forcing it down our throats).

this Lily Allen song is so underrated - so you should listen to it
It isn't mentioned often but Brat was 1000% inspired by It's Not Me, It's You. Lily her influence

Dua Lipa f/ Troye Sivan - "Physical Remix"

The PRISM era could have been much bigger
She should have just not released Unconditionally and Birthday at the times she released them. Roar and Dark Horse were genuinely far too big for their own good, if she had waited until they had died down she could have released more singles and kept her momentum.
