Miley being sued for copyright infringement over Flowers
Copyright infringement suits are often filed after a song becomes successful. If it's not a successful song, most atrists/their team don't bother. It takes money and time to prepare a case and keep it moving through court.

Nicki offers to help Gay tiktoker seek asylum
Lol keep lying. It's literally a court case, the suit was dismissed and Nicki's statements to the court are readable, as you can see in the link I posted. The accuser not only lied about Nicki, but Nicki's lawyer also provided evidence of discrepancies in the accuser's story from her interviews. And the video is also easily available online where everyone can see her say it. Also, in an alternate timeline where these discrepancies and lies didn't exist and her husband had actually sexually assaulted someone, he was 16 and he served his prison time. That was decades ago, that man is probably in his 40s today, and people should not be forever defined by their wrong doings especially when they were a teen and they already paid for their wrong doing. Nicki's haters been hating on Nicki yeeears before she married him, and only used that case from when he was a teen as ammo against her. Her haters don't actually care about abusers and victims as the industry is full of abusers that they support.

Nicki offers to help Gay tiktoker seek asylum
So you ignore the fact that her husband's accuser voluntarily dismissed that false lawsuit when Nicki proved in court that she never harassed her in any shape or form, and that in fact she had contacted Nicki to seek a payout and Nicki told her no? https://allhiphop.com/news/nicki-minaj-bloods-jennifer-hough-kenneth-petty-misunderstanding/ Also the fact that there's a video of her husband's accuser saying that he wasn't guilty and she had tried to recant her statement back then but the DA didn't want to. Those who hate Nicki love repeating lies, even after they've been debunked as lies.

Billie Freefalling on Apple Music . Why?
Y’all always overreact to everything. Her album’s gonna smash because it’s impossible for it not to. Her whole brand was built on and thrives off built-in hype (for GP) and an image woven into Gen Z who strongly connects and who’ll ride with her till they at least come into adulthood and consider other things that speak to them then. The huge payola she’s benefited from plus influenced media will help keep her hugely successful. She’s the industry’s darling and will continue to be. The industry has a vested interest in her staying successful. All these forces would make it impossible for her to “flop” lol, except in an unlikely event that she does something that puts her so out of favor with the GP that shoving her down their throats wouldn’t work at all, which is super unlikely. Not even Camila is even near that level and she was a whole exposed racist. It takes at least a few years to start to see any notable decline for an artist this big, depending on how often an artist releases and how much they’re pushed in the public eye.

Jhené Aiko’s Chilombo 1 Billion Streams
- Camila 1st female with 3 1b+ songs including Fifth Harmony
Sad. It’s a song belonging to Fifth Harmony as a group entity, it’s not a song of any of the individual members.- HDD Final: Eminem 275k, Halsey 233k, Mac Miller 175k
Younger and older artists from different genres doing well in sales and charts is always a good thing for the industry and other artists.- Billboard 200 to include video streams

Has Billboard confirmed whether YouTube Ad views will count toward the BB 200?- Tinashe debuts at #147 on the Billboard 200
Definitely. It’s an accomplishment to even chart anywhere when you have no label or industry push.- Why isn't Harry's music on the radio?
I really don't get why Columbia doesn't send songs to radio? Is this Columbia's MO? What's the issue, Columbia doesn't believe in paying radio for play for artists who aren't already established like others do? Can someone explain- How Supergroup 5H Solo Debuts Stack Up on BB
...National TV exposure as solo artists? In 2012 when they auditioned out of 1000s for X factor at 15/16 and were soon put in a group in the competition, a group in which they were not solo artists making solo music or being promoted as solo artists outside Camila... I- it’s clear what the point is when I say your “years in the industry” comment and metric isn’t accurate or meaningful to the four’s success as solo artists now, but whatever, carry on.- How Supergroup 5H Solo Debuts Stack Up on BB
Ok, but “how long they spent with mainstream industry exposure before releasing their first solo song” isn’t accurate at all. Because they - the other four - didn’t have mainstream exposure as solo artists because they were not solo artists, nor did they even have notable consistent exposure as a group to the general public, who didn’t and don’t know who the four (except Normani now) are individually. It’s a meaningless metric the OP used there. It means nothing how may years they spent as merely a member of a creatively oppressed group with relatively low sales and 2 big songs. They were not even being adequately invested in as a group. They were not getting out there and being promoted to the general public as solo artists during those years in the group. So years in the industry as a member of the group is meaningless to the potential success of their solo work. The general public doesn’t know them individually until they’re significantly promoted to the general public and get sustained solo success.- How Supergroup 5H Solo Debuts Stack Up on BB
Ok well it wasn't clear on that and like I said the years "in the industry" doesn't matter with respect to their success as solo artists now. There are tons artists who have tons of years in the industry before debuting or before getting a mainstream hit. The only factor that matters prior to becoming solo artists is the circumstances of their solo launch, if they had received a significant and consistent solo push, like Camila did.- How Supergroup 5H Solo Debuts Stack Up on BB
The OP isn't accurate. Why does it say Camila has "nearly five years in the industry" and the others six or seven? They all started in 2012 with the group, except Dinah who had recoreded a song in 2011, and Normani had recorded a song when she was 13. All should have the same amount of years in the industry: 6, with Camila having 3 years as a solo artist and the others 1.5 years so far. Also the years in the industry as part of a girl group, which was notably mishandled by their teams, are not relevant to their individual years as a solo artists now. Although the group was impactful in reviving girl groups for example, it was not a super group and did not dominate in sales and the general public did not and still does not know the individual ex members except Camila and now Normani. Being a former member of a group does not create automatic acclaim or success for their work as solo artists. Camila's initial solo success stemmed from acting as a solo artist in the group and her own team setting up her solo connections and launch within the group, long before she officially left. Plus all the PR her team and media created and the other members thrown under the bus while Camila was uplifted made into a sympathetic figure everyone should root for. - Camila has released 7 solo singles: CITC, Never be the same, Consequences, Liar, Shameless, Cry For Me, Easy. - She has been involved in 15 collabs: IKWYDLS with Shawn Mendes Bad Things with MGK Love Incredible (feature on Cashmere Cat's single) Hey Ma (feature on Pitbull and J Balvin's single) Know No Better with Major Lazer, Travis Scott & Quavo Havana ft.
