"Rain" is an unreleased pop song originally recorded as a demo by Tinashe in 2014. Composed by Theron Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Cirkut, and Dr. Luke, the track was recorded for inclusion on Tinashe's sophomore album Joyride, though it ultimately went unreleased on her official tracklists due to unforeseen delays and changes in direction Joyride experienced.

After the song went unused, it was later sent to Becky G who recorded her own demo in 2015 for inclusion on her scrapped 2015 studio album. The song has only been shared in snippets, but we now have Becky's original demo in full studio quality. What do you think? 

Other songs that could've ultimately made the final cut if the album were to have seen the light of day included but not limited to the following:

Shower, Break A Sweat, Can't Stop Dancin', You Love It, Lovin So Hard, Garden, Zoom Zoom, Crazy, Move It, Bubbilicious, Money Maker, Coolin, Say It

I think her music was really good in the 2010s but Becky G as a latina faced too many gatekeepers
they only wanted latino artists to follow the quinceañera reggaeton cliche salsa fiesta barrio formula like bad bunny
They dont want latinos doin edm, rock. something special. America boxed latinos in the 2010s
She's one of the most underrated artist from this century tbh

What happened to Tinashe is/has happened to Becky G. She is the full package and legitimately talented and has the catalog and multiple hits but that regional Mexican route that she took really messed her up momentum and good will that she built up to that point

She needs to re record and release this album officially. Other unreleased gems are Crazy, Good At It, Grow, Jury, Dominoes, Locomotion, Not Backing Down, Take Me There, You Can't Have Me

She also needs to release that scrapped Latin pop album with Mamacita, Mala, Loco Por Mi, Besame

If their is any hope or justice in this world she will hopefully get a second resurgence. I think this album is meant to transition her into the anglosphere again with her team constantly reiterating that they're reverse crossing over her career.
