Oh it's actually getting embarrassing at this point…

So first she flopped with Special like not even a cute underperformance, just straight up "let's move on quickly" energy. Then right when she could've quietly regrouped, boom! tour scandal hits and suddenly the narrative is in the gutter.

Miss thing then tries to pivot into a "new era" with Love In Real Life… only for the whole project to mysteriously vanish into the vault like it never existed. Shelved, scrapped, erased, pick your struggle.

And instead of taking the hint? She drops that random mixtape that literally came and went in the same breath. No buzz, no streams, no impact just vibes and silence.

But wait, because it somehow gets worse: she randomly decides to insert herself into that Epstein discourse (???) and completely tanks whatever goodwill she had left. Like girl… read the room.

Now fast forward and she's back again with Don't Make Me Love U, serving a music video with a life-size doll of herself (???) so clearly somebody at Atlantic is still cutting checks. The budget is there… the demand is not. And the numbers prove it: MV is just reaching 100k and debuted with 220k on Spotify

At this point the real question isn't about her career it's: what kind of contract does she have where Atlantic refuses to let it GO 😭

Just be more patient. I'm not gonna watch that video either

Anyway, she's still doin better than Ava Max was and they held on to her for almost a decade… plus at least Lizzo still had a successful tour…

Lizzo has such a very defined and authentic personality that makes her a unique artist. She is someone who is not easily replaced by the next person in line.

Labels might not be willing to let such established and unique artists like that get the boot, even if they aren't performing well.

I mean the label isn't putting any money in considering this is how I found out she released something

I dont hate her but she is a disgusting person despite her having so much talent and personality. Still Ava deserved to get dropped on album 2 lol so

I watched that video to not see anything relating to a budget as you suggest, so I don't think it's looking good for her.

She's Lizzo. She's had a couple of #1s, Grammy recognition, drama. She's not Normani. There's still potential for her to do something.. I just don't think she knows what to do. Her leaning into being the fat conspiracy girl with these random ass songs isn't going to work though.

Like the songs really just suck. It doesn't have any of the flavor of her earliest music. Like at ALL. It's equivalent to how P!'nk and Kelly switched to soccer music exclusively.

I don't dislike Lizzo at all, but since we're mentioning labelmates.. Sweet But Psycho gets more streams per day than Lizzo's whole discography. They are not on the same level.

Ava was smart to move on from dead ass Atlantic. Lizzo should do the same. I wish the best for her career.

Why wouldn't she be, at least for the time being? Her catalog still has value, she does well touring, and her new releases could still pick up. I wouldn't be shocked if she went indie at some point though.

Well she is out of the top 500 Spotify Top Artists. Her hits are forgotten and she haven't toured in so long
