new single from my fav band finally out! quietly released earlier today as a preview for their upcoming 8th studio album

it's a cute one imo! reminds me a lot of Strangers to Ourselves but a little grittier, can't wait for more

Didn't know they were getting ready to drop another album, will be tuning in

they felt ancient when I read that unofficial bio book in 2007. they've been around since 1994. decrepit at this point.

well technically they have multiple live albums, compilation albums (including Sad Sappy Sucker which is a full unreleased album which was originally intended to be their debut but was only officially released after their masterpiece The Moon & Antarctica was released in the early aughts), and EPs in their arsenal so their discography is pretty expansive at the end of the day definitely be sure to check out No One's First and You're Next if you haven't before because it's their The Dreaming/Be the Cowboy sort of art pop moment, it's an EP made up of songs from the sessions of their 2004 and 2007 albums that didn't make the cut. honestly with Float On, Dashboard, Missed the Boat, and then NOFaYN, they should've become big hitmakers lol

I randomly discovered them when their last album came out as a part of New Music Friday and the album cover caught my eye. We're Lucky was one of my favorite songs of that year. Def seated for the new album!
