So we know Britney had recorded songs like 3 and Up N Down in 2009 which made it to the Singles Collection and Femme Fatale

But do you think she should have capitalized on the comeback hype and re released Circus with 3 and Up N Down as singles in 2009 while she was still promoting the tour? Or was it smart to use those songs for these other releases?

Phonography and Quicksand are highlights. Trouble sounds like an unfinished demo to me, but could have been great. The fact OFU was considered as a single is wild. Radar deserved its flowers.

I don't really feel like it needed a rerelease. 3, I Wanna Go and Up N Down sound too different from the Circus tracks. If anything, 3 fits much better with FF sonically. I'd have said it wouldn't have been that crazy to tack it on over there instead, especially if it were present day where many years old songs land on tracklists commonly.

I think 3, I Wanna Go (Forgot that was the 3rd song) and Up N' Down could have all smashed in 2009-2010. Britney could of released what she wanted for FF if these hits weren't just sitting there and maybe bj would of never happened

Depending on when the album would've been re-released, her team may've been able to get Telephone before Gaga recorded her own version. Can you imagine getting both 3 and Telephone on the re-release?

Criminal was also recorded in mid 2009 alongside all these tracks, so all the Max songs! And there were plenty of songs recorded already by early 2010 for sure, they could've went for it. However I do love the final FF as well even if it's not for everyone

I never understood why they decided to release TSC instead of re-releasing Circus. It would have given the era a second #1 and the re-release certainly would have charted higher and sold better than TSC.

I think they did it cos 2009 was roughly the tenth anniversary for Britney's career since 1999.

I wonder if they had a different production at their demo stage?

The era has good songs but the album standard is not that good!

a re-release that included all the bonus tracks and some remixes on a second disc would've been really cute.

The Circus era had the best bonus tracks like Amnesia and Quicksand, which should have not only been on the standard, but should have been singles.

Rock Me In, Phonography, Quicksand and Trouble are all stand outs she def could have released a proper deluxe edition with them. with a single or two.

circus is lowkey my favorite britney album, yes it has a dud (my baby) but it's such a fun enjoyable larger than life record. and you could tell she had fun recording it too. it's the last time we had a glimpse of carefree britney, even with her family starting to take control, she was still in charge with her creativity

Blur is such a good song, but yes chop Lace & leather and Mm papi and and Trouble and Phonography to the standard
