At the end of the day can you blame the girls for pursuing their solo careers where they have more control? It's clearly YG doesn't give a **** because the brand is an instant cash flow and that's about it so why would the girls volunteer to continue getting exploited. They just went on an worldwide stadium tour as a kpop girl group which is a huge feat in itself.

It's almost pointless to speculate because we can't know what happened in the discussions around them signing new contracts. We can assume any number of things but no matter whether they were happy for it to play out this way or they felt forced because they couldn't leave with the IP themselves, they signed up for this.

My personal opinion is that the members are happy to coast along now with YG handling the **** for them. If we're talking about maximum money for YG and if the members wanted to prioritize the group then they could easily make their own studio album together and go on a full tour rather than cutting it short.

what do you think the songs were that Bekuh mentioned? im confused about the big one that took them to the next level, since she's not credited for HYLT and PV… maybe DDDD? it's just confusing because DDDD was so early in their career, they were on a massive upward trajectory regardless.
