I needed a moment to sit with this, but I do like it after a few listens. It's very pretty and catchy, just a bit too simple and soft to really WOW me.

 

I think it could do well for her though, especially after that gorgeous Victoria's Secret promo

I just don't understand why would she film a video for "yes baby" and not for this?

I think she's happy being a B list star and not having a Sabrina moment. She doesn't seem to have any interest chasing big name pop producers and MV directors. I'd love if she did but she seems content where she is.

The video is a.....CHOICE! It's ok, nothing amazing, it looks low budget!

At least her management did their job booking the VS Fashion Show. Her issue's never been her work ethic, it's always been (primarily) the major labels she's been signed to imo. Hope the song continues growing before the Christmas freeze so it gets a push into the new year.

1.1M is amazing for her. The song should be added to TTH on Friday, which will hopefully keep the song's momentum going.

 

She should drop another song in November and announce the album for January, then hit the late night shows for TV performances/interviews
