Obama talks about Middle East

Featured Replies

"Part of what you see in the Middle East is the consequences of the mindset that some people are worth more than others"

*everybody claps*

lol

didn't watch the rest but doubt he said anything insightful

We've been inundated with this orange maggot and his demon ilk for so long, I forgot what professionalism looks like

I mean, did he lie? Say what you want about Obama, but he told the truth.

He spent 5 minutes saying "were all just people man"

FOH…

But he won't name the people responsible for the current famine.

He later said the same dehumanizing mindset exists in those who would deprive people in Gaza of food — without naming Israel or the U.S., which are responsible for the famine.

Not surprising. When Saudi Arabia was dropping bombs on Houthi areas in Yemen, in a war with thousands of civilian deaths, the US under Obama provided weapons and mid-air refuelling to Saudi jets, so they could stay over the target area for longer.

The U.S. provided intelligence and logistical support, such as aerial refueling and search-and-rescue for downed coalition pilots,[81] accelerated the sale of weapons to coalition states,[82] and continued strikes against AQAP. In 2016, American and British military officials were confirmed to have provided advice and training related to Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen.[83][84][85]

Spoiler

I'm not praising Trump here at all, but it took a change of president to end the mid air refuelling policy in 2018.
