She's doing so bad on streaming omg but the songs are so good

She confirmed on a IG video that Female Intuition was scrapped bc she outgrown the songs (a.k.a. all of them tanked hard and she started over)

 

She said this mixtape is just a passion project of her doing what she likes with close people to her and to shake it off the "pressure" of having another peak. When she feels ready we'll get M3 but this will do for a while since the snippets are rlly cute

Was female intuition the name of the album? Did we have a track list for it?

will this count as an album for her label contract? 

sis should have stayed consistent after about last night... that's the problem w labels they expect one album to do well and when it doesn't they put a halt on all of the projects

Yes, it was. Back when she released Look at My Body everything was ready to go: photoshoot, tracklist and there was even a press release for the album. At the time some ATRL insiders already teased the album too. Mabel herself created an IG account that was called F3maleIntuition or else (with the 3 alluding to M3).

 

Then LAMB tanked hard after having a high budget MV and the era stalled. Prior to LAMB she released Vitamins as a promo track, then after LAMB she released the album's title track, Chat and Stupid Dumb. Each one of them flopped harder than the previous one so she scrapped everything and started over with All Over You. So far we only know these tracks that were meant for the OG album, but i think eventually the rest will leak

 

As of her contract i don't think how it works for her, if she signed for an "x" amount of studio albums or if every release will count  

Btw Love Me Gentle is so so good. Finally she's getting back on track

can't believe we are only a few days away from the release date! I've been waiting for this quite a bit tbh, the songs from april 2024 till today has been my favorite from her since her early days so I'm hoping the project will be good

Just release that album and call it a day, streaming online no physicals no more push 

at least we're still getting a project this year 

in my mind she was gonna be a superstar and now we here  still an amazing discography tho

I actually prefer all of her R&B stuffs like the first mixtape and then this self-titled, rather than the Pop music seems forced.

The problem I had is , now this new music comes off as forced from her, since she already made the change to pop, now these just come off as try hard, especially since the whole ska-reggae pop trend has already come and gone.

a bit disappointed tbh, I was really hoping for a fresh breezy island influenced project (a la Benz, January 19, Love Me Gentle, Chat, All Over You, Stupid Dumb) but only the already released tracks and Lay Me Down were in that atmosphere. the new tracks are quite plain 13 in a dozen rnb tracks and none of them stood out to me compared to the singles released within +1 year. Last year her rnb game was coming off stronggggg I loved it. I adore rnb but these just felt uninspired, so many similar amazing songs released this year but just done much better. I think I liked Is It Loveeee the most out of the new ones but what the hell is the chorus-verse-chorus only structure... 

 

I think if you didn't like the singles, you might enjoy the project cause the singles are different from the album tracks. I would've loved if she had added the previous singles also to this to pull in the cohesiveness. Female Intuition and Vitamins would've fit this album perfectly

 

I'm gonna listen to this and hope I can get into this at least a bit more, the previously released tracks are still great
