Re/ the wishes for Boy Crazy/The One to be released soon: I don't think that's going to happen soon. 

 

Now that Yippee is slowly taking off on pop radio, her team certainly doesn't want to push another song.

 

In the event pop radio drops Yippee quickly, the f5ve collab comes out in two weeks. That one will probably be pushed since it's their lead single.

 

I assume we'll probably get another song in June maybe.

Artists release promo singles while a radio single is increasing all the time though. I think it would be really smart to release a promo single or two leading up to the album. We don't need one til mid May at the earliest though.

You're right, but Boy Crazy/The One would be wasted as promo singles imo. They have potential and deserve their own moment to shine.

I don't think both of them would be radio hits tbh. Neither of them sound like one to me, but neither did Joyride

Yeah, you never know what's going to be a hit tbh.

 

I really love this rollout though (assuming I'm right). Her team can give Yippee time to grow on pop radio throughout May while simultaneously dropping the f5ve collab and then ring in the second phase of the album rollout with a new song in late May/early June!

 

So much better than what RCA did with Gag Order by just throwing ETA/Fine Line out and the album only three weeks later and also High Road where the whole campaign was centered around Raising Hell and nothing else was pushed.

F5ve literally have 5 singles out that are on the album lol

So excited for this! It'll be nice to see Kelly interview Kesha, considering Kelly was the one that was arguably the most vocal against Dr. Luke in the media and coming to Kesha's defense when the lawsuit started.
