Let's rock, baby. On March 28, Evanescence meets DEVIL MAY CRY in the "Afterlife". From Capcom, led by Adi Shankar, and animated by Studio Mir comes DEVIL MAY CRY - a Netflix animated series based on the hit video game. Included in the series and soundtrack is "Afterlife," an original song by Grammy nominated rock icons Evanescence. Written by Alex Seaver (of Mako) and Amy Lee (Evanescence), this track embodies the core of DEVIL MAY CRY in true Evanescence fashion. This release will be supported by a lyric video, music video, radio campaign as well as a wide array of press moments and social media posts. On April 3, coinciding with the launch of the series on Netflix, the full soundtrack will be available for pre-order on vinyl.

Do we know who produced it? Sounds too good to be Nick

It shockingly is Nick! Maybe he got tired of the whole fanbase dragging him lol. (Or maybe Netflix paid him better than the band usually does so he actually did better work? )

Didn't get to hear it ugh, but excited for Friday!

They have a song for the Devil May Cry anime? I haven't really payed much attention to Evanescence since like 2011 if I'm being honest but I'm perched for this.

They only have released one album since then, so you haven't missed much

Btw this is their best opening day on Spotify ever

Glad they are getting some exposure for this! Doing this and getting their name slowly out back there was smart!
