Maty Noyes - 'Rainbow Syndrome'

I felt bad after reading her story of what went down. I loved her earlier work, but wasn't really a big fan of her last album. I'm glad she's finally able to release again!

Hippie trash. She forgot how to make good music sadly.

the way her I Write My Own Songs album was one of my most anticipated that year yet i didn't even bother listening to her last one bc that EP she released in like 2018 was the last music i enjoyed from her :rip: i wish she'd work with some cool producers or something

heartbreaking reading her story about her time being signed and now being independent trying to make this album - def give it a read. these labels really put our girls through it </3

really looking forward to the album! we will be streaming

Unfortunately this is really bad, she's so lost, someone should guide her

Luckily this is really good, she's so talented, someone should grammy her

Having been a fan of her in 2018 watching her career play out has been really frustrating, and as unfortunate it was to read about all the mistreatment she faced throughout her time in the industry it definitely wasn't a surprise. Labels continually treat her like **** and seemingly do nothing to actually push her music forward. However, her still putting this out properly is honestly amazing and good on her for not backing down.

The album itself is..... meh. The first few songs are definitely the strongest, and other than that Hygiene was the only one to keep my interest for even a little. Definitely nothing I would personally revisit though. Cover is absolutely atrocious, but somehow better than her last one? Nonetheless, hope she's finding freedom in being fully indie and if she ever puts out another record I will be tuning in just to be supportive!

a deluxe is coming apparently! hoping she's including this bop she uploaded on soundcloud along with all the other album tracks (sort of the sister song to London)
