They're losing me too, which is a shame cause I pretty much stanned everything from 10 Years to the first two singles from With Love From.

Surfaced, which is unfortunate, but I guess expected when their plans seem to change sporadically

Yes. The song (at least for the DSPs I know) was submitted a lot of time before its scheduled release (7th of Feb). so, a mess

Did they change their management team or what?

Seriously, this whole era has been a mess.

Everything was managed SO WONDERFULLY for their comeback album and then they went downhill.

I love them, always will, but I was really hoping (since they've released essentially three albums worth of material since coming back) that they'd have more cemented plans, strategies, and rollouts. :dancehall3:

I know the album is going to be great but...

They have a new booking agent (but that's just for touring I believe) I also know their long-time business manager passed away last year (there's a song dedicated to him on the album.) But other than that, I'm not sure.

I do agree that ATOTB was handled well (overall) but I still think there were missteps and some missed opportunities, but compared to this era and With Love From it looks essentially perfect.

That's super sweet from them that they wrote a song dedicated to him, looking forward to hear it.

Well, it kinda makes sense that it's been a messy rollout, hopefully next era will be smoother.

I really like it!

I don't know if anything they do will top their scrapped rock eras or A Touch of the Beat for me though.

They were with AWAL for distribution from Ten Years through ATOTB but left for WLF, distributing through SoundCloud instead. Their distributor this time around is SoundOn, a subsidiary of TikTok. The business manager who passed is unrelated to music.

Their music manager used to belong to a company called Primary Wave. He later moved to Red Light Management. He has since departed and belongs to his own made up company and they have seemingly stuck with him. I would assume he has no resources but his own network. He does not even have a website.

He can be found on Instagram this week celebrating the virality of No One - which is only viral due to the passing of Michelle Trachtenberg...as can be seen up and down his screenshot. They also made a TikTok recreating the 2005 music video without acknowledging Michelle. Purely capitalizing on the momentum provided by her untimely death. I am not sure how they are getting away with this flagrant disrespect.

Wow, that's actually very disrespectful from them.

This era is their messiest.
