I think it's because she's not trying to put her foot in the western musical market like the others, she's still a standard kpop artist and so the visuals and album style match that. I never expected her to be the member to go 180 from the YG style, and even the people she has chosen to work with have stepped into kpop before

Bc this release is mostly for the Korean market while Lisa, Rosé and Jennie are aiming a global audience. Also she's focusing on acting rn and this feels like a gift to the fans so they will get some solo music from her too.

There's a 30 second lq leak of earthquake and it sounds real (it has some elements from the album teaser), sounds straight out of Tension II and I live 

Earthquake is a smasha i'm sorry but she cleared the other girls

love hearing all the different harmonies on the teaser

that's what I've missed during her first solo tracks (and a lot of bp tracks in general)
