If Katy Perry were to be featured on Die With a Smile, would it still perform as the current song did?

No because Katy would be off-key trying to sing Gaga's parts

There are some artists that are so over that I am convinced that if they were to release their biggest/most acclaimed hit today, it'd still flop. For those artists, it's less about the material and more the fact that no one cares anymore.

 

Imagining the verse and chorus harmonies with Bruno and the chill that ran down my spine. My god.

 

 

The song would have fallen out of the chart after 2 weeks

Bruno would never invite Katy to collab, I fear.

Its like if he'd collab with LMFAO or Jessie J. It's just too unrealistic to even imagine.

She'd probably decline like the dozen hits she reportedly passed during her prime and after. She doesn't seem to know what a hit song is these days. 143 proves this. It's obviously made with the charts in mind but yet the material is void of any replay value. It feels inauthentic. But to answer your question no. Gaga's vocal delivery was just what the song needed and it blended perfectly with Bruno. Katy's vocals have been heavily cleaned up and processed post One of The Boys. Also her ballads all flopped hard. Thinking Of You and Unconditionally comes to mind. Gaga on the other hand has a few hit ballads under her sleeve by now. 

You really had thoughts that artist like Bruno would collab with Katy Perry ???   

Bruno would need to rush release a solo version to salvage the song I fear
