I'm sorry, but what else were they even expecting from a faceless K-pop band member?! Not every album needs to have a deep concept. This is a good pop album with its share of memorable songs, take it as it is. No one wanted anything more from Rosé.

Agreed. Majorly disappointing album and far too generic and impersonal.

I would have given her a 6-6.5. It's a cute little pop album.

I mean, that's pretty good, Pitchfork is difficult to satisfy, so I am happy for her.

It's an okay album.

P4 has never been a fan of the BP girls, so this score is quite expected.

It didn't meet my expectations of a singer-songwriter with pop sensibilities type of album from her, but maybe that's my fault to assume she's some Taylor Swift / Sara Bareilles / Mariya Takeuchi / SZA just because she knows how to play a guitar.
