The only thing that's fishy here is you asking this question the very day it matches and then surpasses your fave for most days at #1 this decade for a song by a female artist.

It's almost like you're trying to sow doubt into its legitimacy in passing Flowers.

But that can't be it, it's not like you're one of the biggest trolls on this site or anything, right?

This is the current top 5 in Canada, so I would consider this a #1

1. All I Want For Chirstmas (+8 this week)

2. Last Christmas (+11 this week)

3. Rockin Around the Christree (+9 this week)

4. Die With A Smile (+1 this week)

5. A Bar Song (Tipsy) (-4 this week)

Yes, very fishy. Nobody can convince me that people are willing to listen to this unremarkable sing for months on end. Of all the 2024s hits this is one of the least catchy and original, it was good for a few weeks only.

And I used it as an example for something that's actually fishy. It has nothing to do with time

Nothing about it was fishy, Gaga and Interscope had the opportunity to earn a lot of money cuz Amazon wanted to buy copies full price and sell them for 1$ to promote their cloud services since Gaga had a lot of demand at the time and was the biggest pop girl. It's been said a million times, idk what's not clicking. It's not Gaga's fault that BB rules at the time allowed for the copies to count. It's not that much different from Samsung buying Jay Z/Rih albums and giving them away for free.
