Wait

I didn't even know that I was mishearing Airport as Apple

and I was wondering why people are connecting the song to Airports dddddd

was thinking maybe it had something to do with her being at an airport on Von Dutch lmao

No Broke Boys has kinda become my favorite from the album over Nasty these past few months.......... sad to see the top 10 snub but happy to see it this high.

HIGH SCORE

10 x 6 (Dark Miracles, Ewan Chaos, redsing707, Meloetta Carey, Into The Void, MusicLoverDude)

9.5 x 2 (Rev8, makeawish)

LOW SCORE

5 x 1 (Terylee)

3 x 1 (glitch)

I know some of you girls hate it for being a bit basic ( @glitch :lakitu: ) but who really gives a damn when it bops this well? Tinashe does a lot of sounds really well, that's why she's the most underrated popstar of the century of course, but I do love hearing her get all braggadocios on a song! We all love a tell-off anthem to a no good ex-partner, the bible of No Scrubs is a gay favorite for a reason, and Tinashe adds another jewel to the crown with No Broke Boys.

Ex on the line...
Just as I suspected,
No one really gets over me.
I'm unaffected~

:sats:

Ewan Chaos: "This is a party anthem."

Moonlight Nation: "It's so fun! I genuinely think Tinashe could have kept her renewed momentum going had she released this as "Nasty" 's follow-up over "Getting No Sleep". It feels like "2 On" 's spiritual sister while very much standing out on its own merits."

Well

yall deserve hell

11 x 1

@Meloetta Carey

HIGH SCORE

10 x 6 (redsing707, Ace Reject, Ken Lee, K$Ellie, jacklovesyou1, wish)

9.5 x 3 (makeawish, greento, Invisibility)

LOW SCORE

5 x 1 (305)

1 x 1 (glitch)

The ill-fated second single from Quantum Baby. I think some Tinashe fans have a bit of bitterness towards this song as they think of it as a momentum killer, when she should've swerved right into No Broke Boys... I'm getting war flashbacks to Pretend and All Hands On Deck ten years ago... but I don't think the song needs to suffer for that. Truth be told, Tinashe is a flavor that the GP is never really going to vibe with long-term. They told us time and time again. She's an indie popstar and any success she comes across should really be celebrated for what it is and not what it "could be".

Getting No Sleep though? A banger. Or an understated banger? Whatever - **** bops. Tinashe skates smoothly over melodic verses and then delivers one of the most earworm-y spoken word-ish choruses in the rate. So weird and so hot. I love her delivery on this song, such casual confidence. Ugh, she's so cool.

Ken Lee: "I fear this was too ahead of its time for some people."

Invisibility: "It's the little flourishes and that particular flavor of electronic music that really hits the sweet spot."

Moonlight Nation: "Hypnotic production, addictive melodies, and such a glamorous atmosphere throughout, but the post-chorus brings it down a bit."

Getting No Sleep is great....... not too mad at it missing top 10 though.

My ideal winner would be 365 but honestly most of this top 10 would be a good enough winner for me. I'd put money on Good Luck Babe taking it though even if it's kinda here on category fraud sjdihsiodhsiohd I will scream when we have to rate it again next year when it's on Chappell's 2nd album

Chappell's 2025 album will be rated in the 2026 edition of course. It's only fair.

HOT TO GO over so many better Chappell songs :deadbanana4: y'all will rot in hell

Getting No Sleep is the best song on Quantum Baby by far :lakitu: really good top 10 actually

Juno was definitely a millennial reference because I had no idea why she was talking about the Roman goddess on that song at first :rip:

Hated Bed Chem on first listen but it grew a lot, but Taste was always an instant earworm for me.

Farewell to the borefest that is Getting No Sleep and the basic ***** anthem No Broke Boys.

Never really understood the hype for Apple. Like it's cute but it feels kinda forgettable to me.

Talk talk remix washed the OG imo, never understood why people panned it so much (maybe because they don't like Troye and wanted Dua to serve something other than level one Duolingo French and Spanish).

Mostly ok with that top 10 but if I had to cut out one song it would be Club Classics. I also do not like 365 og at all. The remix was the biggest upgrade on remix album for me

Von Dutch and Sympathy is a Knife are the best Charli songs here but BRAT is again the most overrated album here

11 x 1

@Ken Lee

HIGH SCORE

10 x 10 (Ace Reject, K$Ellie, jacklovesyou1, wish, brokee, Julia Fox, Graves, BowWow, Ewan Chaos, GreatestLoveofAll)

9.5 x 2 (greento, Quicksand)

LOW SCORE

4 x 1 (GraceRandolph)

3 x 1 (redsing707)

The self-sampling opus itself, Club classics creeps into the top ten by the skin of its teeth! I'm happy with this, as I LOVE this track. There's something very pleasing to me about all of the different deliveries Charli gives on this one, switching up her flow on the regular. There's a lot of different parts being stitched together on this one and it should be really disjointed (and it sort of is, in the best way) yet the final product is so damn pleasing to the ear. And the diva in me stans that Charli is fanning herself here. She wants to dance to her own records, and even samples HERSELF on the track. That's so c*nt.

Ewan Chaos: "My favorite pre-album single. I love Von Dutch a lot too, but when this came out I KNEW we were in for a wild ride."

Ken Lee: "Ultraoverlooked. Still cannot believe some people preferred Back2Boring over this when they dropped."

Moonlight Nation: "It's only right "Club classics" eventually goes down as a club classic. Quintessential Charli."
