    new track premiered today on a british radio show! it seems to be a new single, but as always with James Murphy & co., there's an enigmatic and intriguing air to the whole thing which makes it feel like the news will gradually be revealed over the coming… weeks? plus, the DJ said at the end that it's all she can share thus far but that more will be heard soon. regardless, a true banger with a classic LCD early 2000s vibe :gaycat1:

    I'm still kinda sad there's no explosion at the ending or anything but then again not every LCD song has to be a Dance Yrself Clean or Call the Police-level masterpiece 

    relistening to American Dream rn and girl this really is one of my fav albums ever, it's so f*cking good :gaycat2: I hope they have a similarly epic rollout planned for this new era

    it seems like a bit of a retrenchment to me? american dream was such a post punk turn, this sounds a bit like what i think of when i think of the bonus cd you got with the first album with all the loose singles on it (tho tbh i haven't listened to that in a while)

    it's a bit basic isn't it. whatever you could say about new body rhumba (and it was quite generic lcd) it did sound more like they were making an effort

    it's okayyy i like the production and the 2nd verse but it's just so repetitive
