I love the songs and the transitions, but I wish there was a little more diversity in sound and lyricism. Still a solid debut album. "How Does It Feel?" is the only song I could do without.

Not sure how off topic this is but the transition from Nessa Barret's new song to In My Bag on the New Music Friday playlist is unexpectedly really good. 

 

The albums so great a real solid debut. They've really honed it on their sound and pull from different R&B influences while adding their own FLO flavour . They even had a Little Rock moment with "I'm just a Girl" which caught me but surprise also . I'm proud of the girls and there journey to get to this moment 


My standouts at the moment which will probably change the more I listen are 

In My Bag , Soft , Check , Bending My Rules , On & On , IWH2BMX, and Get It Till I'm Gone 

For a billionth time, How Does It Feel - Soft is a 1 2 PUNCH STRAIGHT ON UR FACEEEE

the lead was definitely poppier in terms of the song and melody structures. this album is a bit less accessible.

Anyway, a really solid debut from Flo I'm very happy with this album. I think that they had just enough experimentation. It's their debut album so in my head they're just building a solid foundation of a catalogue now that they have a studio album. Excited for tour now.

So proud of them for saving R&B

Get It Till I'm Gone is my instant favorite  also loving In My Bag, Soft, How Does It Feel, IWH2BMX, Nocturnal. No skips tbh

Was the Chloe x Halle feature fake news, or could we get them in a potential Deluxe?

Solid album. Gave me Mis-Teeq vibes but also modern with the lyrics and some of the production choices. Some of the songs felt Kehlani-SweetSexySavage-ish. 

I like the album but they desperately need to find their own identity instead of just doing throwbacks. I don't get why they would push themselves further into that Destiny's Child tribute act box with that album intro.

The more I listen the more I love. The girls devoured! 

This is a great album. Their production is superb, melodies, harmonies all so polished & crisp. And most of all I truly believe they've carved their own identity with this project.
 

The "they need to find their own identity" takes really don't apply to this album at all especially with how modernised the production is. Honestly the girls should be proud of themselves because they did that!
