FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
I keep switching back and forth between both albums and ugh, they're just so fab. I just adore the tones of their voices. I truly can't decide which who is my favourite. Also, I can't wait to see how they'll perform this album on tour with hopefully a bigger budget. (UK flolifers pull through and free Leave You (Never) from the vault before hackers inevitably get to it lol)

FLO - 'Therapy at the Club'
I know they mentioned Beyoncé as one of their inspirations for blending pop and r&b and I do see that. If AAA was their "Dangerously in Love", this is definitely their "B'Day" (also bc they're loud af on this album lol) I thoroughly enjoyed it though! I really did see their vision here and I applaud the storytelling and track placements.. even if I did have to have a drink and garden a lil to endure Pose lol

RAYE - 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.'
Raye (and PinkPantheress tbh) have made me so nostalgic about the UK and what it can be like when the whole country isn't a mess. To be corny is to be free and this album did indeed contain hope! Lol I'm so glad I saw her for the first London show of the tour. This album is definitely gonna carry me through the rest of the year

RAYE - 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.'
While I think it would've been great in theory and obviously she adores Winter Woman, I feel like she didn't do this because it's a bit too similar to Escapism in some aspects. People would easily say she's trying to reheat her own nachos for another hit. This won't stop us from spreading the gospel of Winter Woman though!

RAYE - 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.'
Tracks 1-4 are Autumn, 5-8 are Winter, 9-12 are Spring, and 13-17 are Summer

RAYE - 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.'
I think it was a great idea to split the album into seasons actually. Some days I'll listen more to Winter and other days I'll listen more to Summer etc etc. The album is a lot but you definitely just need to spend a few hours just absorbing it all

RAYE - 'THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.'
Life Boat is so far the only "electronic" danceable song on the album
-
FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA Afterglow'
Even if some of the music isn't 10/10 I'm still very grateful we've been given so much music in the past year with the deluxe and Afterglow. 2019 me would never imagine a day like this (she also saw sense and released God To Feel)

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
Honestly I kinda don't I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that she didn't put the HBHBHB bonus tracks on streaming for the 10th anniversary. let me stream for you florentina!

Ethel Cain - "Nettles"
According to iTunes, it's track 4 of a 10 track album!
