Ok, then please explain:

• Why did she post a video explaining the irony behind the video to avoid backlash?
• Why did she also defend Dr. Luke in the past?
• Why didn't say anything defending Kesha?
• Why did she return to the same corny, vapid, pathetic formula from her previous work?
• Why did she include it in her album and not just in that song?

 

I know you desperately want and need to believe this delulu'd mess, but Katy Perry is not authentic and she is desperate for a hit. She was always a product and now she KNOWS she's closer to losing her youth, she doesn't have artistic integrity and she'll suffer the consequences of focusing on trends and soulless songs and videos. 

 

The reality is that she is no longer needed in the pop environment. There are new, better versions of what she used to provide in 2009-2013. She should've sticked to Harleys in Hawaii/Never Really Over kind of sound and build her base, but nope...
