The way some of y'all would be yas queening if this were literally anyone else   this is the most fun and unserious she's been, and her chronically sick ass is giving more energy and verve than 80% of her contemporaries.

 

I will say she's the most convincing when she's being an edgelord so this Deftones shift is a welcome change of pace. I don't dislike 'Lucky' but her vision of pure pop is sometimes too much on the vanilla side which it doesn't really have to be. Her more memorable / successful songs (WM, BaL, YSBS, Gasoline, WCT, Colors, etc) always had a bit of edge to them. 

 

This album won't top IICHH,IWA I fear but Manic on steroids could come close.
