I think regarding the sound it is important to add that most of her fanbase is now around 30, so depends what demographic she will try to reach

All in all the gays were spoiled this year.. to get new Beyonce, Taylor, Ariana, Billie, Dua in 5 months and now KATY???  I'm still hoping for Gags and Rihanna and officially this will be the most exciting year in pop music since 2013.
