Ten years since these bops were singles. All About You being a nice charting single (feels more of a "lead" for her 2015 album Breathe In, Breathe Out compared to Chasing The Sun) while Boom Clap was written for Hilary Duff but was rejected by her team for not being "cool enough" for her even though Hilary says she would have accepted the song had it been offered to her. Which song is better?

All about You is the better song, I love the folky instrumentation. 

 

Perfect blend of Hilary's earlier pop rock stuff and the direction she initially wanted to take with BIBO.

 

Boom Clap is excellent too, but feels slightly less unique.

Also it's funny how Hilary's team declined the song for not being "cool enough" when the song is on brand for her

I wish Charli and Hil could have worked on something else though, would have been cool to see what they'd of come up with!

Boom clap is an excellent pop song. HD does not have the range for it though

Boom Clap is one of the few XCX songs I like, and I love it. She really serves and it devours this Hilary song.
