It's #10 on YouTube's most viewed music videos of all time and #1 by a female artist of all-time.

A permanent scar to some fanbase

  • Fun fact: It's also Katy's last solo Top 10

  • Hits just aren't this massive anymore. Absolutely inescapable at the time and still iconic to this day

Its a cute kids educational video to teach toddlers about different animals etc. A decent song :clap3:

Spot all the animals in the video (20 marks)

I remember when this song was dominating the charts. Dark days for us Lady Gaga fans.

Congrats, Roar :clap3:

Yes, Skip Marley the mega hitmaker that you are. :clap3:

OT: I miss the days when YouTube was such a dominant force. Since the rise of streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music it almost feels like artists just don't really care about making big moment music videos anymore outside of a select few (Megan Thee Stallion for example).

This hit of hers was such a phenomenon...I was 7 when this song came out, and I still remember our teacher playing a Mother's Day parody of it because it was Mother's Day and we were making cards for our moms in class.

Then the class asked her to play the actual song, and I still remember everyone singing the lyrics to the song. :jonny5: Ahhh it was such an amazing point in time. I miss Katy :chick3:

Her other 2 top 10s after Roar included irrelevant not very known rappers so it's not like they contributed much to the success

i'd rather they still sell 100k+ albums, outstream everyone who isn't taylor and fill out stadiums 12 years into their career. we don't need to hold on to decade old songs
