If Dua Lipa released this tomorrow, it would be a global smash. Did this orchestral disco bop by former main Spotify girl Maty Noyes deserve better?

Ngl I kinda despise this song. It's very fun yes but also not that good? Absolutely love the rest of her discography tho

I have a love hate relationship with this song

now this should've smashed

I remember this song was suggested for every Spotify playlist I made

 

It has good elements but it just doesn't sound like a hit to me

No but this one… really deserved to be a smash for a year

Well her label, industry and GP paid her dust so I don’t think why would she put so much effort into a career that will go nowhere. I’m glad she’s still making music though but the reality is that she has been treated so poorly by everyone and without support of a big label her career will be the same as she’s now.

Omg I did not expect to see that GEM in the OP. One of my favorite songs ever. I always day dreamed of her getting a once in a life time opportunity and performing it at some awards show  

She used to be SO good when she first started out, I was convinced we were going to get a banger album. Say It To My Face is legit pop excellence, in a sense she should've given it to some big popstar, it could've been the hit it deserved to be and Maty would at least make money from the songwriting royalties.

Her album I write my own songs got scrapped. Some of the leaks are truly incredible like promiseland, agent Orange, easy to say, cobra etc etc

 

The album sounded so dark, Mysterious but also poppy and it was scrapped smh

Her early output was so good, I'm really not sure what happened after. Her debut album is terrible.
