While one could argue the New Yorkian Joel never had a peak as large as New Jersey  Springsteen, his stats are still  insane and consistent

    Bruce is bigger since he has released more music since Billy gave up music in the 90's . Billy is much better since his music  was much more versatile .

    Now I want to see Grammys style round table with New York Billy Stan’s vs Springsteen fans from New Jersey :bibliahh:

    This is almost impossible, but I think Bruce just edges out Billy because of his focus.

     

    Both are amazing live, both have incredible albums under their belts, both changed music... but Bruce has been consistently giving us high-quality projects since day one, and Billy stopped making new pop content in the early 1990s. I'd love one more pop/rock album from Billy to bookend his career, because River of Dreams is somewhat of a lackluster finish.

     

    That being said, I think Billy's Glass Houses is probably the best record across both careers.
