Someone said in a thread they think they already worked on a track together.  What do you think a Cardi x Doja collab would sound like?

I’m thinking something Pop-friendly, but still Rap like “Tia Tamera,” “Juicy,” or “***** Talk.” I’m requiring Doja to do the hook though.

Video would need to be a cheeky + colorful (á la WAP).  Would be great to have some elements of comedy in there…given both of their personalities.

It’s a tricky one though, b/c sonically they aren’t really in the same lane.  But maybe with Scarlet transition it’ll make sense next Doja era.  Might give them more flexibility on the sound.

Thoughts?

The dramatics Clack

2 years ago I wanted this but not now. What would Cardi contribute in the studio with someone who writes and produces music like Doja

Cardi has done the same thing her whole career, and her collab with Doja would just sound like a sequel of WAP which is so unnecessary.

They can both collectively drag their fan bases in a single track

I don't want Doja to do the charity work.

Cardi couldn't even rap on the Munch beat, how on EARTH would she be expected to keep up with Doja?

Y'all love setting this girl up.

Cardi verses on other peoples recent songs are good.  I think it could be a quick one-verse sort of feature vs. them doing a back and forth on a record.

They (musically) don’t have good chemistry so no.
