    what??? I was completely unaware of this release. let me catch up real quick.

    Not gonna lie... I was disappointed.

     

    Over her career, K. Michelle has been able to scratch a VERY specific 80s/very early 90s R&B itch that no one else has pulled off recently. Her country-leaning adult contemporary songs have also been immaculate (Just Like Jay, Life I Chose, Run Don't Walk, Silhouettes).

     

    The first 5 albums all have at least 7/8 songs that I enjoyed.

     

    This one? Only "Love Language", "Scooch", and "Blame Yourself".

    random at times due to too many tracks. despite of that, 'love language' and 'i cheat' remind that she still got it and special mention to tennessee chorus, wtf is that lol

    Im always hit and miss with her lol, like will love one album and completely skip the next. I’ll give this a listen later
